Much to Celebrate
My husband took me out for coffee.
It was my birthday.
We sat together at a small round table, and he told me that he had planned a get-away for us.
Just us...
...to celebrate not only my birthday, but also our approaching anniversary.
Twenty years.
.
I can hardly believe we have been married two decades.
We are more in love now than we were twenty years ago. But it hasn't always been that way. We had a difficult start, and quite a few hard times in between. There were points along the way that I wanted to give up, but he kept right on loving me. Thank you, Lord, that he kept right on loving me!
Truly a testament of God's goodness and grace.
