More from The Prairie

Once we had toured the interior of the Liliput lodge, we headed over to the new Shabby Chic Couture store.  Rachel had this old home moved to the property and renovated it to house all of her beautiful wares.

It is a sweet little shop.

This fence graces the front of the shop with a little horseshoe gate.

The inviting porch swing lends a little taste of what you are about to see inside.

Come on in... shop around.

Everything is soft and billowy and lovely.

Soft hues and twinkling chandeliers.

Beautiful exposed wood walls.

And just a touch of what looks to be the original wallpaper.

Many items to choose from.

Of course, bedding, chandeliers, lighting and pillows.  But there were also bags and totes of various sizes,  linen and floral napkins, Prairie china,  Prairie t-shirts, aprons and candles... just to name a few.

Rachel's own scent... wildflower.

And of course... her new book.

You can order your autographed copy here.

They were getting snapped up rather quickly.

Pearl the Prairie dog on shopkeeping duty.  It's a hard life, but she seemed to take it all in stride.

Take a day to spend in Round Top, TX... stop by The Prairie and shop around.

Make your way to Royer's new Pie Haven.  I have heard raves about this place, and I can't wait to go myself.  I have heard mouth watering reviews of their pumpkin whoopie pies.  Worth the trip, don't you think?

Still more to come...
